What is The Hartford looking for?
5 years of deep practical experience in the role, with repeated experience performing business analysis in a variety of complex situations.
Understanding of the business (P&C Claims) and application suite (Guidewire ClaimCenter)
Familiarity with Guidewire data model
Self-motivation and results oriented with the ability to work independently or with a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills in varying settings;ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Experienced facilitator with strong presentation skills.
Experience in project planning, oversight of project timeline and resources, developing estimates and prioritizing deliverables.
Basic technical knowledge around SQL and XMLs
Ability to effectively interact with differing levels of the organization (e.g. entry level end-user through senior level employees)
Agile experience, exposure to Jira or Rally
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Strategic thinking skills, ability to problem solve and drive solutions
Demonstrated ability to partner with internal shared service IT groups, offshore delivery centers, and external vendors.
