Determines liability, secures information, reviews coverages, arranges property damage appraisals, and settles claims. Report inside/outside designation. Typically located in branch offices.Under moderate supervision, works within specific limits and authority on assignments of moderate technical complexity. Possesses functional knowledge and skills reflective of fully competent practitioner.Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, build credibility and gain trust while operating with integrity at all times.Responsible for the investigation and file management of claims as well as assisting other claim professionals and our policy holders with multiple facets of the claims process.Serve as “the face of The Hartford” as we deliver on the insurance promise and make a difference.Achieve targeted performance goals to manage costs and support The Hartford’s industry-leading operational claims standards.Qualifications: Degree (Bachelor’s or Associates) preferred but not required.Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced customer centric environment strongly preferred.Must have a record of high achievement, self-motivation, ability to multi-task competing priorities as evidenced through work and extra-curricular activities.Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, analytical and research skills.Ability to analyze/reason through complex problems and make sound recommendations while consistently demonstrating honesty, integrity, courtesy and respect when interacting with others.If offered the position:As a condition of employment, you will be required to successfully complete a multi-week New Hire Training Course and, upon completion, obtain a passing score on the final course assessment. Continued employment with The Hartford is contingent upon you successfully passing the exam(s) within 30 business days from the completion of the New Hire Training. As a condition of your employment, you must obtain and maintain a State Adjuster's License to process Property & Casualty Insurance Claims in the states supported by your office.
