Reporting into the Director of CTO Service Delivery ITSM & Discovery, the Sr. Analyst Service Management will join a team of ServiceNow system administrators in the operational support and enhancement area of The Hartford’s ServiceNow platform and applications. The Analyst will gather requirements, document and develop functionality using Service-Now. The Analyst will also be responsible for issue resolution and troubleshooting, as well as researching Service-Now functionality as required


  • Client interaction

  • Business Analysis for enhancement requests

  • Tool administration and support

  • Workflow construction

  • Field content & data population

  • Tool configuration & customization

  • Form design

  • Functional and performance testing

  • Web Service construction, integration and testing

  • Ongoing user support

  • Onboarding of new teams and users

  • Issue resolution and troubleshooting

  • Researching ServiceNow functionality as required

  • Gathering and documenting requirements

  • Translating Requirements into Technical Specs

  • Developing ServiceNow functionality



  • A minimum of 3 years with ServiceNow custom development and configuration

  • ServiceNow scripting experience using JavaScript, Jelly, Glide, HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, and Web Services.

  • Working knowledge of relational databases

  • GRC, Security Operations, and Orchestration experience is a plus

  • Gathering business requirements and analysis

  • The ideal candidate should have experience developing custom, complex workflows and applications in ServiceNow.

  • Fundamental understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business processes; experience working closely with SME’s, project managers, and process owners to capture business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and develop service now functionality is a plus.
