Title: Senior Consultant - Center of Excellence

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Process Improvement, you’ll be accountable for driving a culture of change and adoption of a continuous improvement mindset. In this role, you will be supporting Lean Management sustainment across the enterprise as well as providing coaching, training and Lean and Six Sigma subject matter expertise.

· Sustainment and Continuous Improvement of lean management (The Hartford

Way) across the enterprise

o Coach and enable business leaders in an effort to maintain and increase

adoption of the Hartford Way

o Assess progress of The Hartford Way through robust and objective maturity

review processes

· Training

o Instruct various levels of lean six sigma problem solving

o Facilitate large scale audiences in interactive communities of practice

· Technology

o Collaborate with technology teams to deliver enterprise tools

o Ability to successfully implement new reporting tools into the business

· Coaching

o Partner with business leaders to improve and stabilize lean management,

inclusive of continuous improvement projects

· Design & Pilot

o Provide innovative thinking, design and pilot of concepts to support desired

outcomes of strategic objectives, including training curriculum

Qualifications:

Minimum of certified green belt

Prior experience with McKinsey Lean Management implementations framework preferred

Experience in design and execution of new training curriculum and sustainment processes

Strong facilitation skills

Minimum of 3-5 years of communication and change management experience

Ability to form trusted partnerships across all levels of the organization, including senior executive management

Capability to integrate business and technology strategy into a well-defined initiative

Strong team player

Able to lead complex, enterprise business cross functional work streams independently

Strong written and oral communication & persuasion skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong project management orientation

Proficiency in advanced Excel and Power Point required.

Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience required
