Whatis The Hartford looking for?

  • Bachelordegree with at least 2-3 years of applicable work experience

  • Desired educationalexperience include, but are not limited to: Computer Science, Engineering,IT, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics,and Business

  • Desirecandidates with prior Data Engineer competencies and prior experience withsuccessful enablement of Data Delivery initiatives

  • Understandingof current and emerging IT products, services, processes and methodologies

  • Prefer experiencewith Big Data technologies and concepts on a Hadoop platform (e.g. Scoop,Hive, Pig, NoSQL, etc…) and willing/adapting to future technologies

  • Preferworking knowledge of ETL process across various tools and experience withSQL skills
