Identifies opportunity agencies and nurtures relationships to elevate performance
Interacts with relationship owners of aggregators for consistent messaging to sub-locations
Responsible for code clean up, mutual terminations, and rehabs and acts as point of contact for non-key partner/pipeline agencies
Works with agencies to achieve MOS or move toward de-authorization
Follows up on outstanding reauthorization and training agencies
Maintains and updates AIM Data
Participates in sales team and product meetings for assigned territories and supports key field initiatives as an extension of the field sales team
Articulately differentiates The Hartford’s Personal Lines offerings from competitors and teaches aligned agents to do the same
Adheres to prescribed call patterns and best practices to maximize effectiveness
Contributes consistently to team meetings in a meaningful way to share best practices and improve skills of others
Thrives on feedback and continuously works to improve in all areas including identifying agent and customer needs, sales skills, product knowledge, and territory management
Partners effectively with assigned Key Partner and Pipeline agencies to develop sales and marketing strategies to drive high quality, profitable business to The Hartford and the aligned agencies
Has a deep understanding of the preferred, mature market and educates aligned agents on how to market AARP through Agents
Embodies the Personal Lines Agency value proposition and inspires aligned agents to sell value over price in the best interest of their preferred, mature clients
Studies assigned territory to understand competitive landscape, opportunities, and risks
Manages territory to reach TSP goals while focusing on The Hartford Behaviors
Embraces the Agency strategy and acts as a brand ambassador for The Hartford and AARP
Shares ideas and critical feedback from the field with leadership to improve Agency successQualifications: QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in personal insurance sales/marketing, underwriting or related industry experience
Ability to conduct a virtual sales call and agency training
Advanced market, product knowledge and sales skills
Technologically savvy (e.g. Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
