The Lead quality Engineer will be part of the Testing Center of Excellence organization focused on Automation as a core component to transform enterprise QA for agile, continuous delivery and DevOps. This role will help enable transformation of QA from an organization that finds defects to preventing defects, delivering higher quality by leveraging right quality engineering technology and tools. This role provides thought leadership that will help to mature our quality engineering practices and toolset in Digital, DevOps, Agile, Automation, Enterprise Data and Analytics, Service virtualization, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Test Environment management and Test Data management.


  • Outline and execute the strategy for Enterprise Data functional, SOA, API and data quality testing

  • Design, implement, maintain, enhance or build Selenium based test frameworks and Hadoop based test frameworks

  • Provide guidance on industry best practices

  • Act as a point of contact with our vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues as required.

  • Actively participate in our daily scrums to help establish a Test Driven Development / Behavior Driven Development approach

  • Implement and analyze regression reports, code quality, automated builds and KPI’s

  • Measure quality from the perspective of end users and downstream dependencies

  • Ensure the QA and application platform performs and scales appropriately


  • BS in Computer Science or technical degree and 5 years of hands on lead QA with advanced knowledge of Software Testing and Quality Assurance practices

  • Hands on experience with automated test tools/Frameworks including Selenium and UFT,

  • Have experience with web and mobile platforms and testing applications running on various iOS platforms and devices

  • Experience in Behavior Driven Development, and able to script in Gherkin Language using Cucumber or SpecFlow.

  • Working experience in Agile/ scrumSAFe or Kanban teams

  • Able to configure automated tests with CI/CD pipeline, preferably in Jenkins

  • Ability to develop tools & utilities to assist developers in testing their own code base

  • Builds frameworks and packages to implement progressive automation

  • Set up tools like CA Dev-TestRIT to perform tests using virtualized services

  • Experience in using simulated Labs like PerfectoMobile Labs

  • Works with Dev & Ops team to configure & monitor environment using tools such as Puppet & Chef

  • Develop BOTS for prescriptive & predictive analytics

  • Understand the application at code level and provide performance scans including SAST and DAST tests using CheckmaxAppScan

  • Knowledge on HADOOP, and experience in Big DATA Testing

  • Excellent communication skills and interact effectively at all levels

  • Ability to create and modify tools to solve complex customer needs and demands
