The Enterprise Quality Assurance team is architecting and designing the QA ecosystem for the Data, Analytics and SOA Platform. As a QA Data Automation Engineer, you will help establish framework for automated testing, SOA, Service virtualization, Enterprise data and data quality assurance. If you have an aptitude for problem solving and are eager to measure the quality of big data and analytic systems, we’d love to talk to you!

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Outline and execute the strategy for Enterprise Data - functional, SOA, API and data quality testing

  • Demonstrate strong accountability for the quality

  • Design, implement, maintain, enhance or build Hadoop based test frameworks and Selenium based test frameworks

  • Actively participate in our daily scrums to help establish a Test Driven Development / Behavior driven development approach

  • Implement and analyze regression reports, code quality, automated builds and KPI’s

  • Measure quality from the perspective of end users and downstream dependencies

  • Be part of a Scrum Team – driving work independently or collaboratively towards achieving business outcomes

Qualifications:

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS?

  • BS in Computer Science or a technical degree received in either December 2017 or May 2018

  • Familiarity with Data Engineering and Data analytics concepts

  • Conceptualize testing requirements based on both external and internal inputs

  • Have a Passion for technology

  • Basic business insurance knowledge

  • Introductory knowledge of Agile methodology

  • Quick learner in classroom setting and on your own

  • Have an understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels

  • Ability to Collaborate with local & off shore development & testing teams

  • Ability to complete assigned tasks with supervision and guidance from the lead

  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting

  • Solve complex problems and have a strong empathy for our users and customers
