As Nurse Case Managers, we seek to restore lives! This position is part of a dynamic, fast-paced team of experienced Case Managers located remotely across the country that supports the Western Region of the United States. The ideal candidate for the Nurse Case Manager role will oversee medical and disability case management services. They will be involved with the early stages of the injury process. On average, a Nurse Case Manager shall handle 75-85 cases with a moderate degree of complexity and acuity of medical condition. This would which include the review and evaluation of Workers' Compensation claims for vocational and/or medical service delivery. They will collaborate with claims staff, the injured worker, an employer and health professionals to promote quality medical care with a focus on Return-To-Work (RTW.)   • Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate medical services and Return-To-Work options

  • Working telephonically, the incumbent will focus on disability and medical management activities that result in a timely and sustained RTW.

  • Responsible for early intervention for lost time cases that are not categorized as High Exposure.

  • The Nurse Case Manager will participate in round tables, coordinate services and ongoing treatment




  • Worker’s Compensation case management experience is strongly preferred

  • Active RN licensure in good standing is required

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience required in orthopedic, neurological, rehabilitation, medical/surgical or occupational health.

  • Candidates will be well versed with the RTW program and is highly involved with medical management

  • Professional certification as a CCM (CDMS, CRC, CVE, and/or current CRRN) or willingness to pursue.

  • HS Diploma is required, a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher education) in a health-related field is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Computer proficiency (MS Office)
