The candidate will be supporting Integration Competency Center organization that is part of the Data Asset Management organization in the Enterprise Data Office (EDO). One role will be in the within the Operational Data Store (ODS) team and the other in the Data Integration Services (DIS) team.

The consultant will play a multi-faceted role, including leading the analysis of systems integration requirements, scoping of efforts for delivery, estimating work, and testing for quality. They will be responsible for defect management for the team and will assist in delivery for a large program. Candidates will be expected to have the ability to handle multiple critical issues and deliver outcomes in an aggressive timeframe.

Candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of various business analysis activities, skilled in performing data analysis, requirement elicitation, facilitation and strong customer interfacing skills with an ability to work on the highest technical complexity projects.

Candidate should have the ability to:

• Act as liaison and consultant between the business and IT stakeholders providing thought leadership.

• Identify best practices and assist with evaluating the performance of the team.

• Organize and synthesize information provided by stakeholders in order to enable the project team to implement a solution that meets those needs and identifies opportunities for improvement.

• Structure and drive working and informational sessions that promote collaboration, synergy, and achieve desired outcomes.

• Clearly give and receive information, requirements and specifications (facts, ideas, perspectives) through verbal and written communication methods.

• Effectively communicate with others and develop healthy, productive work interactions.

• Perform requirements planning, monitoring and end-to-end requirements management.

  • 1-3 years of experience as an Integration Systems Analyst, with excellent oral and written communication skills desired.
  • Experience with gathering and documenting technical requirements. (Translating Business Requirements to Technical Requirements).
  • Some Development or Testing Background in the SOA space is a must have.
  • Strong Planning and Organization Skills.
  • Experience with writing Test Plans, Test Cases and executing Tests using XML Spy or SOAP.
  • Experience with Estimating and Resourcing of work.
  • Some Agile experience is desirable, including usage of Rally.
  • Strong MS Office tools skills set, such as Excel and Visio.
  • Experience with using defect management tools like ALM.
  • Experience working on large projects would be a plus.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least seven years of solid, diverse work experience in IT, or an equivalent combination of duration and work experience.
  • Pursues issue escalation and risk assessment when appropriate.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization (e.g. Entry level through to Senior Management).
  • Ability to provide options and assess solutions, looking at the business holistically and understanding the architectural roadmap.
  • Understanding of current and emerging IT products, services, processes and methodologies.
