We currently have an excellent opportunity available to join our Commercial Property team! As a Property Claim Rep III, you will:

Manage Claim Files:

  • Plan, recommend, reserve, and execute file strategies on assigned claims in a manner consistent with corporate claim policies and procedures, and statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements.

  • Recognize claim exposure and make complex coverage determinations.

  • Handle high volume of claims which includes initial file intake, project and execute accurate and timely payments, investigate mitigation opportunities on the file including subrogation, manage file to timely resolution, and complete all data integrity components.

  • Manage claim deadlines. Develop jurisdictional expertise.

  • Handle claim files in a manner consistent with Claim quality standards and goals.

Provide Exceptional Customer Service:

  • Maintain dedication to meeting or exceeding expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

  • Obtain first-hand customer information; use it for improvements in products and services.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, gaining their trust and respect. Demonstrate diplomacy and tact to effectively avoid or diffuse high-tension situations.

  • Negotiate skillfully in challenging situations with internal and external groups.

  • Set aggressive and realistic expectations for responding and follow through on commitments.

Qualifications:

What are we looking for?

  • Strong demonstrated experience handling Property claims .

  • Customer service experience and or skills.

  • Familiarity with relevant terminology.

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Satisfactory completion of the candidate testing/certification process.

  • State required certification exams and adjusting licenses.
