Job Duties The IT C ustomer Support Team is responsible for coordinating and implementing the exchange of critical eligibility data file transfers between The Hartford and our clients, vendors and TPA’s. We consult with and guide our clients as well as partner very closely with Sales and Service teams for successful implementations.
Possesses functional knowledge and skills reflective of a competent practitioner with the ability to deliver on work of highest technical complexity.
May have responsibility in instructing, assigning, directing and checking the work of the resources within their section/department
Responsible for customer communications and conflict resolution
Leads IT customer calls with client or vendor for implementation of eligibility files
Acts as liaison between the business and IT.
Aides team members' elicitation efforts through help selecting approaches and identification of gaps / areas to explore
Identifies effectiveness of techniques on the fly and adjusts approach properly
Knowledge of products and services provided in The Hartford’s client offerings
Mentors team members to drive awareness of new approaches and improve execution of known techniques
Ability to structure and drive working and informational sessions that promote collaboration, achieve synergy, and achieve desired outcomes.
Designs all aspects of meetings to ensure fast, effective accomplishment of objectives
Actively manages participants creating distractions / diversions counter to desired outcomes
Manage and Describe file Transmission Process
High level of technical expertise including scripting, eligibility/LM loads, and testing.
At least five, typically seven years of solid, diverse work experience in IT, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Requires an extensive knowledge of the business area-s functions and knowledge of system and technology alternatives, excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff.
