Assistant Product Manager, Association MarketsDESCRIPTION:As a part of our growth strategy, we are refiling and updating all of our products, including Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Hospital Indemnity, and TRICARE Supplement (supplemental health insurance for military families).This position is a key part of the Association Product Management team, which will manage these product updates in addition to conducting day-to-day management of our Association product portfolio.RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Assist with development of new and updated products and features + Consult with Sales and Marketing on new business opportunities; support development of sales proposals + Manage product-related projects as they arise + Manage Compliance alerts and product mailbox questions + Conduct external product research + Work cross-functionally with the Compliance, Actuarial, Legal and Filing teams to conduct product filings, including supporting negotiations with Departments of Insurance and management of objection responses + Research and develop contract language supporting business and compliance requirements + Provide timely contract research and consultation to internal business partners + Support various projects as a subject matter expert as directed by manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of insurance business operations expertise
  • Strong demonstrated project management skills
  • Solid knowledge of group products, such as Life, Disability, AD&D, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity
  • Collaborates well with others to drive results for the team+ Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines;good organizational and time management skills+ Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
