The candidate will be supporting Integration Competency Center - Operational Data Store (ODS) organization that is part of the Data Asset Management organization in the Enterprise Data Office (EDO).The consultant will play a multi-faceted role, including leading the analysis of systems integration requirements, scoping of efforts for delivery, estimating work, and testing for quality. They will be responsible for defect management for the team and will assist in delivery for a large program. Candidates will be expected to have the ability to handle multiple critical issues and deliver outcomes in an aggressive timeframe.Candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of various business analysis activities, skilled in performing data analysis, requirement elicitation, facilitation and strong customer interfacing skills with an ability to work on the highest technical complexity projects.Candidate should have the ability to:+ Applies functional knowledge and techniques necessary to draw out data and analytics business requirements completely and accurately from stakeholders. Performs requirements planning, monitoring and requirements management. + Independently performs data analysis, data discovery and data profiling using industry standard querying tools to support business requirements development that are complete, clear, unambiguous, well written and appropriate to audience. + Maintains Data mapping documents, Bus Matrix and other Data Design artifacts that define business data requirements and transformation rules. + Act as liaison and advisor/consultant between the business and IT stakeholders. + Performs and aid functional testing + Structure and drive working and informational sessions that promote collaboration, synergy, and achieve desired outcomes. + Understands the scope of the project and helps resolve scope questions and issues related to own work. + Handles moderate level root cause analysis of business data issues and provides technical data guidance on issues + Helps resolve scope questions and issuesAdditional responsibilities include:+ Consistently and independently follows prescribed framework. + Effectively sets expectations relative to own work and remains unbiased and open to alternative opinions and perspectives. + Identifies major factors critical to decision making and drives team to most efficient approach to enable and support decisions. + Aids team members to help identify issues and improve quality of his/her deliverables.   • 4 years of experience in business requirements and/or data analysis supporting the Insurance industry.
  • Some Development or Testing Background in the SOA space is a must have.
  • Experience working on data warehouse, integration projects or reporting/analytic projects
  • Experience with writing Test Plans, Test Cases and executing Tests using XML Spy or SOAP.
